AMYA UK
I currently volunteer as an Assistant Director of Publications for AMYA (Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association – MKA UK).
Since 2021, I’ve worked within a fast-paced environment under the Website and Apps team, taking on a variety of tasks and projects that have helped me build strong digital marketing experience.
In this role, I work alongside a creative and dedicated team, where we collaborate on ideas, content and production to deliver meaningful digital work that helps educate our youth about their duties as Ahmadi Muslims under the guidance of His Holiness, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be His Helper).
Highlights of our recent work
During 2024–2025, our team worked on delivering a completely refreshed MKA UK website. The aim was to create a stronger educational and faith-based platform for our youth members, while also giving office bearers a more structured and efficient way to report activities across the country.
Summary of contributions:
Delivered a new, modern MKA UK website for the organisation.
Enhanced existing features based on feedback from office bearers, introducing improvements such as filtering options and more interactive user experiences.
Expanded reporting tools to allow office bearers to record a wider range of activities and events from their regions and local areas.
Strengthened the platform’s educational focus by supporting content that promotes Islamic learning and character development for youth members.
FLAGSHIP EVENT WEBSITE | 2021 -PRESENT
Since 2023, the MKA flagship event website required major redevelopment, creating an opportunity to deliver more impactful digital elements that helped youth members better understand the purpose of the event and the benefits they could gain from attending.
In 2024, we introduced three distinctive new capabilities, which contributed to over 35,000 views. This was surpassed in 2025 with the launch of our first Live Reporting hub and additional CMS enhancements, generating 47,000 views.
Progress Overview:
2023: Full redevelopment of the event website
2024: Introduced three new signature digital capabilities
2025: Delivered the first-ever Live Reporting hub, allowing all members to see event updates from anywhere
This project was supported by coordinated email marketing campaigns, social media activity, and impactful push notifications through the MKA UK App.
